What is Yoni Steam?

The Yoni steam is a modernized version of a centuries old Korean tradition called chai yok. It may also be referred to as v-steams or bajos in South or Central American cultures. During the treatment, you are seated over a mixture of steaming herbs while wearing a robe to trap in the steam so the steam delivers the herbal medicine straight to the source.

WHAT DOES YONI STEAM DO?

Vaginal steaming is used to maintain female reproductive health and treat a wide variety of gynecological and digestive problems including: menstrual cramps, infertility, irregular or heavy menstrual cycles, gonorrhea , endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, miscarriage, postpartum healing, chronic vaginal infections, symptoms of menopause, hemorrhoids, IBS, bloating and more.

HOW DOES A YONI STEAM WORK?

The tissues of the vagina are especially porous and absorbent, and the warmth of the steam works to soften and open them. Often women have painful periods due to accumulations of incompletely flushed menstrual fluids encrusted in the membranes of the uterine wall. So you can imagine if you want to clean something really well, you heat it and steam it. The steam combined with the medicinal herbs provides a very healing and comforting effect. When the herbs are placed. in hot water, their medicinal properties, including volatile oils, are released and carried to the surface of your skin and to the inside of the vagina where they are absorbed into the bloodstream, and ultimately into the cervix and uterus.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM A YONI STEAM?

Most everyone who tries it loves it. It’s so comforting, physically and emotionally. During the steam you will feel a warm steam as if your bottom half is sitting in a sauna. You will smell the fragrant aroma of the herbal medicine fill the room as your body absorbs the healing medicinal oils. You should leave refreshed and reinvigorated. Some women notice beneficial results with just one treatment, but often a series of treatments is required. Since the herbal steam works to penetrate the uterus and dredge out any old tissues and blood that were not properly expunged during menstruation, you may notice some discharge following the steam or changes in your next cycle. These are normal cleansing reactions and a good sign that your womb is cleansing.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I DO A YONI STEAM?

That depends on your goals and the severity of your complaints. For more chronic or severe complaints more frequent steams up to 3x’s a week

may be required, whereas less serious complaints may require fewer steams of once a month. Most conditions will respond to starting with one steam a

week for 4 weeks then reducing to a maintenance schedule of 1-2 steams a month then reducing to as needed use.

For example if you have uncomfortable and irregular cycles you may want to come in weekly for a month until your cycle improves and then come the week before your period for maintenance care. Or for postpartum complaints you may want to come in twice a week for 2 weeks to assist in the healing process. For fertility you might want to come in for 2 steams between your period and ovulation. To enhance the healing effect we recommend you combine the V-Steams with Reiki or massage therapies.

YONI EGGS

Yoni egg, jade egg, or love egg – are names for a beautiful semiprecious stone carved into an egg shape and polished to be worn inside the vagina.

It is estimated that women have been practicing with stone eggs for over 5,000 years. Empresses and concubines of the Royal Palace of China used eggs carved out of jade to access sexual power, awaken sensuality and maintain amazing health into their old age. Up until recently, this ancient, secret practice was only available to members of the royal family, and to select Taoist practitioners.

“Yoni” is a Sanskrit word for the female genitalia that means “sacred space.” Its symbol has been worshiped in Eastern cultures since ancient times for bestowing life, creativity and love. We will be using the term “yoni” to bring appreciation and acknowledgment – so often lacking in Western culture – to the creative power this magical part of the female body holds.

Below are a few of many benefits that you can experience if you practice with a Yoni Egg regularly:

Increase libido and awaken your sensuality.

Increase natural lubrication, even after menopause. Balance estrogen levels.

Get to know your yoni closely. Start developing a loving relationship with your yoni, your entire body, and ultimately yourself.

Practicing with a Yoni Egg not only helps tighten the vaginal walls; it also awakens the tissues, organs, and muscles, promotes new nerve growth, and increases overall sensitivity. This will allow you to experience pleasure you didn’t even know was possible. Be prepared to experience new kinds of orgasms. If you’ve never had a vaginal orgasm before, diligent practice can change this and open up entirely new types of sensation and pleasure.

Overcome some issues with infertility.

Easier childbirth with less tearing of the tissue. If you have already given birth, this practice will help repair damaged nerve endings and speed your body’s recovery.

Strengthen your pelvic floor to help with incontinence and prevent prolapse in the future.

Gain Control over the vaginal muscles and rock your lover’s world. Increase intimacy.

A must for serious Tantra, Qigong, and Yoga practitioners.

Reduced PMS, menstrual cramps and the duration of your menses.

Improve overall health and well-being.

The Yoni Egg isn’t just an exquisite accessory that will add charm to your night stand. It isn’t just a great tool for kegel exercises, or a way to maintain health, have better orgasms and more fulfilling sex. The Yoni Egg is an ancient, sacred tool for spiritual transformation.
